Not possible with this motherboard, no more free sata connectors, but better this way, maybe to risky on back side of motherboard. Maybe some kind of usb device could be used, though that might interfere with performance of other usb components ?!? (Sata3 Write/Read speeds slower anyway than m2 slots, plus sata drives twice as expensive ?!, would have still be nice to have this expansion capability though... but my half-sister already ordered this wifi version motherboard so I stick with it for now ! ;) =D)

!!! BEGIN OF WARNING !!!

1. There are reports of AMD Ryzen 7xxx series processors/cpu blowing up/damaged/failing.
1.1 AMD Ryzen 7xxx processors with and without 3D-V-Cache are affected.
1.2 All motherboard vendors are affected.

2. Most likely causes:
2.1 Too much voltage/power being delivered to the processor/cpu especially to the 3d-v-cache/l3d/sram embedded memory chip.
2.2 Possibly caused by wrong motherboard/bios/uefi settings/firmware, delivering too much power.
2.3 (I suspect maybe a throttling bug in the processor;
bucket(s) of throttling algorithm not cleared/empty on idle or nothing taken out of bucket
when executing "no operation" (nop) instructions)
2.4 Processor sensors overloaded with voltage/ampere/power and damaging the sensors.
2.5 Damaged sensors leading to overheat as much as 300+ degrees celcius causing bulging and bent pins.
2.6 Possibility of further short circuits, explosions and even fire, perhaps even electrocution.
2.7 CPU & GPU Software, tools, drivers overclocking the CPU, memory, overriding bios/uefi settings.
2.8 Processor can die very fast even within minutes if too much power, though most failures seemed to have happened
within 10 hours or 48 hours especially after an idling session. Perhaps processor damaged earlier, like sensors,
and fall out happens later.

Possible mitigations/fixes/solutions:

3. Reduce voltage/power to processor.
3.1 Adjust voltage settings in bios/uefi manually to "safe settings", not sure what the safe settings are.
(Anything above 1.25 volts or 1.305 volts is not safe)
3.2 Update motherboard/bios/uefi firmware to latest version, even if it's a beta version.
3.3 Disable automatic memory overclocking such as: XMP/EXPO.
3.4 Run memory at safe/designed speeds/specification:

3.4.1 Two DDR5 memory sticks at 5200 MHz.
3.4.2 Four DDR5 memory sticks at 3600 MHz
3.5 Motherboard might provide a "flash back" functionality without requiring a CPU installed, this would be safest (?!)
3.6 While upgrading the firmware on motherboard/bios/uefi it is important to have stable power. The power should not fail/drop/blackout otherwise
the motherboard might be damaged and not work anymore and "servicing" by manufacturer will be required.
3.7 Do not install any CPU & GPU software, drivers, tools which could overclock the CPU, GPU or main memory/RAM, such as Ryzen Master.

4. Observe voltage levels with hardware monitoring tools.
4.1 Pay attention to "maximum values", if voltage values are 1.35 volts or higher like 2.0 volts it might be wise/safer to shut down the system and wait
for further information to become available, if these are faulty/error read outs or actually true values.

The situation is being investigated by AMD and others.
